“Good Grief: a night of storytelling about love and loss”, co-produced by Three Second Memory and Strike Theater. Join us for a show that is a a fuller reflection of human responses to loss, and celebrations of loved lives lived in all their complexities.
The show is committed to three ideas. The first is that grief is often lonely, and it shouldn’t be. The second is that the range of socially acceptable emotions to express about a departed loved one is too narrow, which contributes to grief’s loneliness. And the third is that our final death is when our names are no longer spoken: telling stories keeps the living and the departed alive. Our real experience of grief can be funny, difficult, surprising, off-beat and we invite you to dive into all of the places grief can happen.
Different line-ups for each show.
