Interlocking Monsters and Friends: Stories, Readings and Poetry

  • Nat's Uptown Books 1016 West 27th Street Minneapolis, MN, 55408 United States (map)

Interlocking Monsters and Friends features award-winning Minneapolis writer, performer and artist Heidi Arneson reading selections from her first published novel on its second birthday!  Interlocking Monsters is a Midwestern suburban gothic thriller about girlhood, missing children, and the secret, shadow side of good intentions. Readers have called it “engrossing and hypnotic,” “a terrifically real, suspenseful and often humorous mystery,” and “a magical book, with much healing potential.”

Joining Heidi on the evening’s roster are poet Heather Beatty, and autobiographical storytellers Amy Salloway and Justin Aufwerk, all performing work focused on the ever-shifting, tricky terrain of female identity.
