SOAP GETS IN YOUR EYES is a shared night of autobiographical storytelling by actor/writer/ Amy Salloway of Minneapolis and comedian/producer/soapmaker Danielle K.L. Grégoire of Canada and Seattle -- long-distance friends and fans of each other who've passed like ships in the night, but have never had the opportunity to perform together in the same city until now. Danielle and Amy are both known for basing their work in unusually high levels of honesty, bravery, self-disclosure and heart, and boldly embracing Topics We're Not Supposed To Talk About (Ha! Take that, Topics!).
Grab this chance to commune with these two up close and personal in the brand-new, cozy performance space at Nat's Uptown Books:
1016 W. 27th Street (the intersection of 27th and Dupont Ave. South.)
Both shows at 7:30pm
Doors open at 6:30pm (But because this is a used bookstore, you're welcome to come even earlier than that to shop, read, and pet Zorro, the bookstore bunny! (He is adorable.))
Tickets: Pay-what-you-can; suggested donation $12
(No one will be turned away for lack of funds)
Reservations: awkwardmoment@mindspring.com
The performance space is accessible, but the restroom is not (sorry!).
Show will most likely contain a smidge of adult language and content.
