What connects us to a specific place? The experiences we had there? The way it looks or smells or sounds? The people we were there with? Or something deeper?  On Friday, November 16, join us for Home Fires Burning: True Stories That Happened Here – a storytelling show about the complex connections between humans and geography.  Acclaimed storyteller Amy Salloway hosts a roster of performers that includes award-winning playwright and author Heidi Arneson; Church Basement Ladies creator Jessica Zuehlke; 2017 Story SlamMN! Grand Champion Gregory Pickett, and more. There’ll also be time for audience members to take the mic and share their own stories of places they’ll carry with them forever…or places they couldn’t wait to escape. Don’t miss this very special narrative evening at the Hennepin History Museum.
