Accompanied by seasonal music, master storyteller Kevin Kling’s wry tales of Midwestern holiday and family traditions take surprising turns, from laugh-out-loud bizarre to the touchingly insightful.
Best known for his popular commentaries on National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered” and his storytelling stage shows Kling delivers hilarious, often tender stories. His autobiographical tales are as enchanting as they are true to life: hopping freight trains, getting hit by lightning, performing his banned play in Czechoslovakia, growing up in Minnesota, and eating things before knowing what they are.
Ticket prices: $25-$30, Students $13.
This is a Kids Play Free event.
